BAY
AREA FIL-EXPATS & FRIENDS 2004 PICNIC |
August
14, 2004, saw a reunion of familiar faces and
friends in Fremont, California. Florie Menor
and Ann Belen organized a picnic to bring together
former co-workers at the beautiful Lake Elizabeth
Park, known for its terrific view and masterful
landscape. The food was delicious, said JD Dizon,
a man of GQ style and one of Franklin Templeton's
pioneer employee.
The picnic was a great
success according to Willie Samson, who recently
relocated to Sacramento, but still loves to
commute to San Francisco. Most of the day was
spent exchanging stories and bringing back good
old memories of the 3rd floor at Mariner's Island.
From the delicious potlucks to the great camaraderie,
and let's not forget the best and most loyal
workers you can ever assemble. Thank you Florie
for bringing all these wonderful people together
and we hope that this will be the beginning
of a stronger bond.
We want to welcome
the Bay Area Fil-Expats to Rancho Pinoy and
we are looking forward to meeting you in November,
when we celebrate Araw Ng Pasasalamat 2004.
God Bless! |
