FLORENDO
AND DE VERA LEAVE FRANKLIN
...FOR
WASHINGTON MUTUAL
Varinia
de Vera and Ruth Florendo are two different breeds of
office workers but both have one thing in mind and that
is to succeed. Both made it clear that leaving Franklin
Templeton was not easy because they enjoyed working
here and credit their experience with the company as
a great influence to what they can bring to Washington
Mutual. Ruth and Varinia were both hired as Business
Analysts in Washington Mutual. They are given the task
of establishing an in-house Transfer Agent and slowly
transition the functions performed currently by PFPC.
Remember Mutual Series? Yes, that is the same PFPC.
Varinia and Ruth will be spending some time in their
Satellite office in Seattle and will definitely be busy
writing procedures, assessing workflows and learning
the different products offered by Washington Mutual.
Both are very excited with their new roles and the many
challenges awaiting them. Their job equals 3 job descriptions
in Franklin Templeton. Try Business Analyst, Training
Coordinator and Quality Reporting Analyst for starters.
I am sure you can stretch this out even further to include
some supervisory functions and systems testing. It was
certainly a great privilege and experience to work with
these individuals. Varinia de Vera and Ruth Florendo
are the true examples of how to build self confidence
through high expectations. Franklin's loss is definitely
WM's super gain. Good Luck ladies.
